Welcome to Metabolic Pathway Analysis (MPA) 2025, the 10th biennial event bringing together a highly interdisciplinary group spanning biology, computer science, biotechnology, and mathematics. Following the successful editions in Knoxville (2021) and Seoul (2023), the conference returns to Europe, hosted by the University of Vienna.
From Monday, July 28 to Friday, August 1, 2025, participants will discuss the fundamental properties of biological networks and their biomedical and biotechnological applications. With a special emphasis on sustainability and the transformative impact of artificial intelligence, MPA 2025 aims to forge new collaborations and help shape the future of metabolic pathway analysis.
This year’s program
The conference will focus on six key topics:
- Metabolic Pathway Analysis in the Age of AI
- Microbiome Interactions: Human Health and the Environment
- One-Carbon Metabolism
- Cellular Economics
- Theory and Methods in Network Analysis
- Applications in:
- Systems and Synthetic Biology
- Biological and Metabolic Engineering
- Sustainable Bioengineering
Key dates
